The Coast Guard will reportedly investigate the Carnival Magic cruise ship because passengers reported a foreign smell and subsequent sicknesses.
There were reports that some passengers experienced nausea and vomiting from what they described as a chemical smell and fumes, according to 13 News Now, a local outlet in the Virginia area. The ship traveled to Norfolk, Virginia, where passengers disembarked.
No passenger on the ship, which can carry nearly 4,000 passengers, was in immediate distress.
