"Abortion bans are racist!"
This is one of the chants pro-abortion-rights advocates could be heard yelling outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
"It is essential for social, economic, and racial equality in this country," a lead demonstrator shouted on a megaphone. "Simply put, abortion bans are racist."

The declaration was met with applause by the crowd of abortion rights supporters.
The nation's highest court is set to hear oral arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization on Wednesday.
The case represents the most significant hurdle to abortion access in years and seeks to examine the contemporary standard by which states revise their abortion restrictions.

"What do we want?" a demonstrator asked.
"Access!" said the pro-abortion-rights crowd.
"When do we want it?" she asked.
"Now!" supporters yelled.

"Freedom to decide if or when to have a child is essential to a person's ability to make personal decisions about their bodies and their futures," the demonstrator said.
