Two men have been charged after officers seized about 115 pounds of marijuana from their truck during a highway stop, Fairfax County police said Monday.
Police said Alexis Paz, 38, and Felix Rodriguez, 45, both of Miami, were charged after officers stopped their 18-wheeler for an equipment violation last Wednesday on the Capital Beltway near Van Dorn Street. Authorities said they found the marijuana in the truck’s trailer.
Both men have been charged with transporting controlled substances into Virginia and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Paz has also been charged with possession of cocaine.
