A man who was about 18 years old was fatally shot in Temple Hills overnight, and witnesses told police that the incident stemmed from an attempted robbery.

A group of people was in the 5000 block of Temple Hills Road when a young male suspect approached them shortly after midnight and tried to rob at least one of them of shoes.
