Police are investigating reports of a man trying to entice youth in Northwest D.C. that are believed to be related.
Three possibly related incidents were reported this month, police said, and a fourth was reported several months ago. Three of the incidents took place near the Tenleytown area. The suspect is only being described as a white man.
- On April 27, police received complaints that flyers offering tutoring services for boys were being distributed in the American University Park neighborhood.
- Monday, police received a complaint about a resident of the Mount Pleasant neighborhood allegedly possessing child pornography.
- Tuesday, a naked man was reported to have made overtures to three juveniles in the swimming pool locker room at Woodrow Wilson High School.
- Wednesday, a boy told police that he was walking in the 4800 block of 36th Street NW when a man followed him in a vehicle and repeatedly offered him a ride. The vehicle was described as a blue, four-door Chevrolet.
