UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Prince George's County police have arrested a man for a slaying in Upper Marlboro.
Police say 21-year-old Marcus Reid of Upper Marlboro was an acquaintance of the victim, 27-year-old Ishmael Boakye of Riverdale. Police say the two had an altercation that led Reid to shoot Boakye early Tuesday morning.
Reid was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder. He's being held without bond. Online court records do not list an attorney for him.
