ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Arlington Police say that two bodies found in an apartment building Tuesday appear to be victims of a double homicide.
The two men, 59-year-old Keefe Spriggs of Arlington and 31-year-old Carl Moten of no fixed address, were found by a maintenance worker at an apartment in the 1900 block of North Culpeper Street.
Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said Wednesday that the case appears to be a double homicide. He said detectives believe it's an isolated incident, but he had no other details on how the men died or whether suspects have been identified. Initially police had said only that the deaths appeared suspicious.
Spriggs' and Moten's deaths would be third and fourth homicides in the county in the last two weeks after 28 consecutive months without one.
