A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Prince George's County.
Police said a man was struck by a vehicle on the 1700 block of Metzerott Road in Adelphi at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. That vehicle left the area. While in the road, the man was hit by a second vehicle, and that driver remained at the scene, police said.
The victim has not been identified and is described as a Hispanic man who is about 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 120 pounds. He was wearing a gray jacket, red Nike sneakers and white and blue jeans.
Police said officers were initially called to the scene for a report of a robbery, but determined that no robbery had occurred.
