HONOLULU (AP) — A company that calls itself the largest tourism enterprise in China is partnering with Hawaiian Airlines and Hilton Hotels to market the Aloha State.

China International Travel Service said Wednesday it has already sold more than 30 group tours to Hawaii. Company President Yu Ning-Ning says the partnership is an opportunity to increase interest in travel to Hawaii among Chinese travelers, a growing market for tourism to the islands.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority says tourists from China have contributed $178 million in 2011 expenditures.

Hawaii Tourism China says the partnership is expected to bring 2,600 Chinese visitors to Hawaii and generate about $4 million in revenue by the end of the year.
