It's a mere 435 days until the Iowa caucuses, and so it's time to fire up the Washington Examiner Power Rankings for the Democratic presidential field.

Like the college football polls, we're starting with a Top 25, and every week, we'll update these rankings: Who's up? Who's down? And why?

In our inaugural rankings, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., earns the top spot, thanks to her skill at being an overzealous prosecutor. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has taken a hit recently, and so has Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J.

Get familiar with the likes of Eric Garcetti and Eric Swalwell, and some non-Erics. And don't forget the guy with the most upside potential, Maryland Congressman John Delaney.
