Major thoroughfares in Prince George’s County are “passable,” as crews worked throughout the night to clear snow from county-maintained roadways, officials said Thursday.

Crews are now working to clear snow from residential roads, according to a news release from the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation.
 
Prince George’s County government offices opened on time Thursday, but with liberal leave for employees who cannot make it into work because of the weather.
