DENVER (AP) — President Barack Obama's re-election campaign is airing a new radio ad in Colorado attacking Mitt Romney for opposing a tax cut for wind energy companies.

The spot says Romney opposes the extension of the tax cut and instead wants to give a tax cut to millionaires. Many Republicans also favor extending the tax break for wind companies, but the Romney campaign argues that the rebate is a giveaway to corporations that doesn't help solve the country's energy challenges.

The ad is one of eight released by the Obama campaign that are specially tailored for swing states. The renewable energy industry says that if the tax break expires, it will cost about 37,000 jobs nationally. In Colorado, about 5,000 people are employed by the wind industry.
