The Suburban Hospital engineer accused of killing his supervisor will remain in custody pending trial.
A judge denied bond on Friday for 49-year-old Keith D. Little, court records show.
Little has been charged in the Jan. 1 stabbing death of his boss, Roosevelt Brockington Jr. Montgomery County police say Brockington was stabbed more than 70 times in the hospital's basement boiler room.
Brockington, 40, had recently reprimanded Little and denied him a raise in a performance review, according to police and court documents.
Little was charged in a 2003 D.C. slaying but was acquitted by a jury in 2006. He had previously served time in prison from a 1984 assault case.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 4.
