President Donald Trump mocked Christine Blasey Ford's emotional testimony against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, imitating her failing to remember recall key details surrounding her alleged sexual assault.

"I had one beer and that's the only thing I remember," Trump said Tuesday night at a rally in Southaven, Miss, parodying Ford's recollection of the evening she alleges Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her.

Trump sarcastically questioned why Ford could not recall key details. "How did you get home? I don’t remember. How did you get there? I don’t remember. Where is the place? I don’t remember. How many years ago was it? I don’t know. I don’t know. I don't know," Trump said to applause.

Ford has claimed that Kavanaugh held her down on a bed, covered her mouth with his hand, and forcibly tried to remove her clothing at a high school party in the summer of 1982, when she was 15 and he was 17.

She testified last week, along with Kavanaugh, before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her recollection of the events. While Ford recalls many of the events leading up to and the alleged assault itself, she was unable to tell the committee how she got to the party, who drove her home, and a number of other details.

Kavanaugh has strenuously denied the allegations.
