Time magazine announced its entertainer of the year Thursday, and she's spoken at the White House.
Pop star Olivia Rodrigo received the title after promoting the COVID-19 vaccine for the Biden administration. Rodrigo, known for songs such as "Drivers License" and "Good 4 You," touted the win on her Instagram.
"I've gotten to do some crazy things this year but this one feels particularly surreal," she said. "thank u time!!! entertainer of the year !!!!!! [sic]"

She visited the White House in July in a promotional campaign for the coronavirus vaccination aimed at a young demographic and spoke at the press secretary's podium. She wore a pink, plaid Chanel skirt-suit, black socks, and sky-high white platform heels.
"Songwriting is the thing I take most seriously in my life," Rodrigo told Time. "It’s the most personally gratifying too."

She broke a record in January by becoming the youngest solo artist to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 list.
"At the core of it, all my songs are about me and my experiences and my feelings," she said.
