Virginia Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, released a Happy New Year message to his followers on Facebook filled with images of 2021 and promises for 2022.
Set to the words of Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky," the video shows Virginia's next governor meeting with state residents, shaking hands on the campaign trail, and being a father.
After he assumes office on Jan. 15, Youngkin promises to create jobs, the best education, the safest communities, and a rip-roaring economy, according to the video.
