President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden visited the Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Friday to greet patients, families, and staff.
The president and Dr. Biden were greeted by hospital officials and patients, according to footage of the event posted to social media.
They visited with the children as they created winter craft projects, and Jill Biden read a copy of Olaf's Night Before Christmas out loud.

Each child was given a copy of the book by the Walt Disney Company so they could follow along with the first lady, according to a press release.
Celebrating with the patients and families at Children's National Hospital is a tradition of first ladies, and this is Jill Biden's third visit to the facility as first lady.
