Lying on his stomach, Dolley lifted his head and appeared to speak to Colbert, who responded by placing his knee on Dolley's back.

Dolley has been charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct, according to a report.

An investigation into Colbert's action is underway, and the full interaction between Colbert and Dolley was not captured in the footage, Police Chief Penny Jones said.

Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs Jr. requested that any individual with additional footage of the incident step forward.

All videos of the interaction, including those from cameras in the area and police body cameras, will be looked at by investigators, Flaggs Jr. said.
