Rep. Kevin McCarthy shared his Christmas favorites Tuesday afternoon but could only name four of Santa’s reindeer.

The House Republican leader tried to sing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Of the reindeer in the song, he successfully named Rudolph, Donner, Comet, and Cupid.

“I don’t know,” McCarthy conceded.

When asked what his New Year’s Resolution was, McCarthy took a more serious tone.

“We have a mission to make sure we turn this country back around,” McCarthy said.

McCarthy listed his favorite Christmas movie as How the Grinch Stole Christmas and his favorite song as “White Christmas.” He said his favorite Christmas tradition is playing the game Spoons with his family and friends.
