Instagram banned popstar Madonna from sharing livestreams on its platform, the singer said on Friday.
Madonna brought attention to her situation by demonstrating her inability to go live in a post. As soon as she attempted to livestream, a note popped up, reading: "Posts from your account have recently been removed for going against our Community Guidelines, so live video sharing has been temporarily blocked."
"What the f***?" Madonna said after reading the note. "What's happening?"

Upon further investigation by her cameraman, another box popped up. He read the note aloud.
"We want Instagram to continue to be an authentic and safe place for inspiration and expression," he read. "Help us foster this community. Post only your own photos and videos and always follow the law. Respect everyone on Instagram, don't spam people or post nudity."
"I'm speechless," Madonna responds, joking that at 63 years old, "I've never worn so many clothes in my life!"
Nudity is strictly banned from the platform, with its guidelines reading, "This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks."
