President Donald Trump continues his campaign blitz in the deep south Tuesday night with a rally in support of Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, who’s fighting to retain her seat.

Trump's rally for Hyde-Smith in a reliably red state comes amid his second pick for the United States Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh, facing a rocky confirmation process after a series of sexual assault and misconduct allegations have surfaced.

The allegations have rocked Washington and Republicans can only lose two votes on their side of the aisle, yet Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are standing by their pick for the bench.

The GOP faces the possibility of Democrats taking the House of Representatives in November. However, with this year's Senate election map, Republicans are likely to retain at least one chamber of Congress with Democrats playing defense in mostly red states.
