President Trump is speaking at a rally in Mesa, Ariz., to rouse support for Republican Rep. Martha McSally, who is locked in a contentious race with Democratic opponent Rep. Kyrsten Sinema for retiring Republican Sen. Jeff Flake's Senate seat.

Trump won Arizona in the 2016 presidential elections by nearly four points. His visit to the state adds to several rallies Trump has held each week leading up to the November midterm elections, which are only 18 days away. He’s further scheduled to appear in Nevada on Saturday, Texas on Monday, and Wisconsin on Wednesday.

Friday's rally comes the same day as Saudi Arabia confirmed the death of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and a migrant caravan headed to the U.S. from the Honduras rushed Mexico’s border from Guatemala.
