A good Samaritan in Chicago led police to rescue a woman who was handcuffed and chained and held captive inside a vacant South Side house for days.

The woman, 36, said she had been abducted and sexually assaulted for up to five days after she met a man she said she had seen before, according to police.

"I ended up bumping into him, and he was, like, 'You know, come here for a minute,'" she said.

The man, supposedly in his 60s, grabbed her and brought her to the vacant residence, where she was held in the basement and then the attic, according to a report.

"I'm trying to fight him, but I can’t fight him," the woman said. "He raped me twice. ... He left me in there handcuffed and chained."

Chained by her ankles, the woman said he screamed and cried for help for days.

She was finally rescued after the good Samaritan, identified as Antione Dobine, heard something.

"As I got closer, I'm hearing boom, boom, boom, help!" Dobine, a community activist, said. "That's what made me call the police."

Before police arrived, he saw a man leave the home wearing a blue jean corduroy jacket, Dobine said.

Dobine posted the police rescue on Facebook Live.

"I just located a girl inside of this house. Police say she's chained up," he said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment and thanked Dobine.

"He could have ignored me, but he heard me, and he helped me," she said. "I'm just blessed. I'm truly blessed."

Regarding the man who captured her, she said she just wants him found.

"I believe he will strike again," she said. "I just want him caught."
