A fight broke out between Canadian Football League players and fans on Sunday after a fan allegedly spit beer on a player.
The fight between the players of the Toronto Argonauts and the fans of Hamilton Tiger-Cats broke out after a Tiger-Cats fan spat beer at a Toronto player's face, according to footage of the incident posted to Twitter.
Several Argonauts players jumped into the stands, and one player could be seen throwing punches with a caped Tiger-Cats fan, according to the footage.

The Argonauts lost 27-19.

Toronto police are investigating the incident.

No details regarding who was involved have been released, and no charges have reportedly been filed.

"We are aware of the situation and we are reviewing it," a CFL spokesperson said. "We won't comment further at this time."
