Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez is facing rumors that she's dating her client during the $50 million defamation suit she's representing him in.

When a reporter asked Vasquez, 37, outside the courthouse last week if she's dating the 58-year-old actor, she laughed but did not respond.

"The people want to know, are you dating Johnny Depp? It's all over the internet. Can you set the record straight? Yes or no?" the reporter asked to Vasquez's laughter.

Vasquez is already reported to have a longtime boyfriend, a British real estate agent.

The rumors have swirled as viewers watched Depp pull out Vasquez's chair for her, hold her hand, hug her, and generally act friendly toward her.

Vasquez was the sole lawyer in charge of cross-examining the defendant in this case, Amber Heard. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million for allegedly defaming him with an article saying she had been abused. Heard is countersuing for $100 million.
