A pair of New Orleans high schools are celebrating 100% college acceptance rates.
St. Augustine High School, a historically black all-boys school, saw all 100 graduates admitted to college, and the St. Mary's Academy graduating class of 19 young women had a perfect rate of college acceptance as well.
Both graduating classes saw their commitment to academics rewarded with scholarships, according to a report.

The St. Augustine graduates earned upwards of $9.2 million in scholarships, and St. Mary's graduating class earned an estimated $5.6 million in scholarships, with two students receiving over $1 million individually.
"When I heard the $9.2 million, I was excited. Wasn't surprised because I knew we could do it," one St. Augustine graduate said. "I felt proud about that because young black men, people usually doubt us, and I just appreciate all the money and scholarships."
Students at St. Mary's appear to share a similar sentiment.
"A lot of people doubted us, like, 'Y'all are such a small class,' but we did that," a graduate from the class said.
