President Trump will host a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, next Friday, his 23rd in the state since he launched his presidential campaign in 2015.
“As the future site of the 2020 Republican National Convention, Charlotte is a great place for President Trump to go and urge North Carolinians to get out and vote on November 6th to help protect and expand the Republican majorities in the House and Senate,” the president’s daughter-in-law and campaign adviser Lara Trump said in a statement.
The announcement did not say whether Trump plans to campaign with any candidate; however, WRAL.com reported he’s expected to campaign with 9th Congressional District candidate Mark Harris, who faces Democrat Dan McCready. The seat is seen as a toss-up.
Trump has held several rallies each week leading up to the November midterm elections. He’s scheduled to appear in Arizona tonight and will campaign in Texas on Monday and Wisconsin on Wednesday.
