Former President Donald Trump appeared on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo and claimed President Joe Biden is missing the mark on foreign policy and the fight against COVID-19 because he is afraid of China and Xi Jinping.

“I think he’s afraid of the fact that [China] gave billions of dollars to [Hunter Biden],” Trump said.

Bartiromo suggested that China “has something on [Biden].” Trump agreed, “Yes, of course they do.”

Trump also blasted Biden’s handling of COVID-19, saying there have been more virus-related deaths this year than in 2020 and that the economy is suffering.

“[Biden] said he was going to solve it, Trump noted. “We have all these vaccines and we have all these incredible therapeutics. [Biden and his administration] aren’t doing their job. They don’t know what the hell they are doing. The mandates are killing our economy”

The former president touted his relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping and the impact it had on warding off China’s threat to the world.

“I’m the first one. We were taking in billions, tens of billions — hundreds of billions of money from China,” Trump said. “I was giving a lot of it to the farmers, manufacturers.”
