Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos, the wife of former President Trump adviser George Papadopoulos, tweeted a series of suggestive photos advertising her husband's new book.
"So proud of my love @GeorgePapa19 ... your story reads like a #spynovel ... I cried again reading about our crazy love story in the Middle of the storm.. #myhero #mylove," she tweeted.

Users immediately began taking jabs at the photos, ridiculing her cleavage and puckered lips while she held a copy of Papadopoulos' book over her chest. One user said: "Omg, this is hilarious. Can good boobs sell bad books if duck lips are involved? Inquiring minds want to know."
Another one asked: "What is the deal with the lips? All I see is Donald Duck. Can’t someone tell these girls they look like ducks? Seriously, when will this ridiculous trend end?"
Mangiante, who like her husband is supportive of Trump, hit back at her critics. "All your comments are so sexist & misplaced," she tweeted. "All you see are lips and boobs, though I am completely dressed, composed and showing the book and my enthusiasm. I am sorry if my full lips bother your folks. I was born like that. Blame my mom."
The book, Deep State Target: How I Got Caught in the Crosshairs of the Plot to Bring Down President Trump, was released last month.
Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to a single count of making false statements to investigators about his contacts with Russians, and in late 2018, he spent nearly two weeks in prison. Last month, his legal team formally asked President Trump for a pardon.
“My lawyers have applied for a pardon from the president for me. If I’m offered one, I would love to accept it, of course," he said.
