Two people are in custody following an altercation at Miami International Airport during which an officer pulled his gun Monday night.
Video of the Florida altercation shows a responding officer engaging with the suspects and drawing out his gun. Additional officers subsequently arrived on the scene to help contain the situation and apprehend the suspects.

Mayfrer Gregorio Serranopaca, an unruly customer in his 30s, refused to let an employee pass in a transport cart, according to the police report. He then entered the cart, refusing to leave and demanding to know why his charter flight to Santo Domingo was delayed, WVSN reported. Serranopaca engaged the responding officer physically before he was arrested on seven charges, including criminal mischief, incitement to riot, and theft, the report said.
Another man in his 30s, Alberto Yanez Suarez, joined in the fighting as well and was arrested on charges of battery of a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence to his person, according to the police report.
Video of the incident taken by social media influencer Mike Majlak shows a crowd surrounding and observing the men brawling. The officer initially appeared to grab one of the suspects in a chokehold, but the suspect managed to get out of it.

Serranopaca, who bit the head of one of the officers during the altercation, was treated on scene after he said he felt illness and arm pain, according to the police report. He later informed authorities he was taking medication for HIV, the outlet said.

Some frustrated passengers told the outlet they waited 12 hours for their flight before being informed that the flight was canceled. Several airlines have experienced delays amid staffing and maintenance issues.
The Miami-Dade Police Department said it is still investigating the situation. Representatives for the police department did not respond to the Washington Examiner's request for comment.
