Pete Davidson is exiting Saturday Night Live, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The departure, reported by Variety, will likely take place after this weekend's season finale.

Davidson joined the cast in 2014 at just 20 years old, making him one of the youngest cast members in the program's history.

Neither Davidson nor SNL have confirmed the exit.

Since joining the show, Davidson's fame has skyrocketed, landing him a number of movie and TV roles as well as hosting gigs. He famously dated Ariana Grande, even becoming engaged to the pop star. However, it didn't work out, which Grande made clear in her hit song "Thank U Next."
