Actress Moses Ingram of Disney's Obi-Wan Kenobi series called out racist remarks she says she has received since the show's release.
In a post to her Instagram story Monday, Ingram shared screenshots of some of the messages she's received. Comments included: "your days are numbered" and "you are not the first n**** in Star Wars," while one user called her a "diversity hire shield" who has "been converted into the Saint George of Floydium of Star Wars."
Ingram also acknowledged those who have defended her online.
“There’s nothing anybody can do about this. There’s nothing anybody can do to stop this hate,” Ingram said on Instagram. "But I think the thing that bothers me is … this feeling of, like, I just got to shut up and take it — I just kinda got to grin and bear it. And I’m not built like that."

"So I really just wanted to come on, I think, and say thank you to the people who show up for me in the comments and the places that I’m not going to put myself," Ingram said. "And to the rest of y’all: Y’all weird."
