A North Carolina tobacco store employee faced off with three would-be robbers, shooting and killing one of them, according to police.
Three men reportedly entered Tobacco & Vape near downtown Greensboro at around 7:45 p.m. Monday. Police said the suspects attempted to rob the store, demanding the employee hand over cash at gunpoint.

The worker then drew his own gun and fired at the men, killing 17-year-old Gabriel Malachi Kalu, CBS 17 reported.
The two other suspects fled the scene with the stolen money, police said.
Last week, a man defended himself from would-be muggers in a similar situation, picking up a handgun dropped by one of the three men trying to rob him and shooting one fatally, the Los Angeles Times reported.
