Filmmaker Michael Moore leveled blame at Fox News and right-wing media, after a picture of his face was one of those featured with a target over it on the van belonging to Cesar Sayoc.

Sayoc, who was arrested Friday, is allegedly behind the pipe bombs mailed to more than a dozen high-profile Democrats.

"Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News Channel and right-wing radio have preyed upon those who've seen their American Dream go up in smoke, and they have helped to create a generation of angry and violent conspiracy theorists who will believe any lie that is perpetrated on those airwaves," Moore said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

The left-wing documentarian's latest film, "Fahrenheit 11/9," focuses on Trump's win in the 2016 presidential election and discussed Trump's rhetoric. Moore has been an outspoken critic of the administration, as have the others featured in photos on Sayoc's van.

"These angry right wing men have been openly encouraged to act on those lies, even as late as this very morning when Trump was tweeting his doubts that the bombs were real," he said in the statement.

Sayoc, 56, faces five federal charges and up to 48 years in prison.
