A spokeswoman for First Lady Melania Trump slammed ABC’s “The View” guest co-host Yvette Nicole Brown and told her to “check her facts” after Brown questioned whether the first lady had been one of President Trump’s mistresses.

“Day 2 of attacks from @TheView. @YNB check your facts before you accuse someone of being a mistress,” Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump’s communications director, tweeted Friday. “She’s your @FLOTUS - she deserves your respect & certainly not your lies. Disgusting.”

Earlier Friday, ABC news correspondent Tom Llamas joined “The View” where clips of an interview he conducted with Melania Trump were shown. Llamas asked about President Trump’s alleged infidelity and whether it had strained the couple’s marriage in the interview, which is scheduled to be fully aired Friday evening,

“It is not a concern and focus of mine,” Melania Trump responded. “I am a mother and the First Lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do.”

After the clip concluded, Brown suggested that Melania Trump may have been a mistress to President Trump.

“Is it possible that she’s not concerned with his mistresses because she was one of them?” Brown asked.

The panel’s discussion progressed, but Llamas later addressed the comment and said that Melania Trump deserves respect, regardless of “whether you like her or you don’t like her.”

“I don’t respect her,” Brown said.

This is the second time this week “The View” has been critical of the first lady. On Thursday, she received backlash from some co-hosts of “The View” regarding comments she made about the #MeToo movement.
