Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban recently decided to treat himself to a Mustang.

No, not the car — a small town in Texas with an estimated population of about two dozen people. Cuban said he made the purchase to help a friend.

“I don’t know what, if anything, I will do with it,” Cuban told the Dallas Morning News.

It is unclear how much he purchased the town for, but the report said the town was up for sale in 2017 for $4 million. Mustang is roughly 77 acres and is about an hour away from Dallas.

The town features several amenities, including a run-down strip club and a neighborhood alligator that resides in a town pond. The strip club, known as Whispers, has since closed down. In 2008, someone was killed there, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Mustang is a ghost town. It was founded in the 1970s and thrived by selling alcohol when most of Navarro County, Texas, restricted its sale.

The town has no local government in place, giving Cuban a lot of flexibility. It also has a wastewater treatment facility and a volunteer fire department.
