Hillary Clinton said she believes former President Donald Trump will run for president again in 2024, warning it could be a "make-or-break point" for the country.
The former secretary of state, who ran and lost to Trump during the 2016 presidential election, made the prediction in an interview with NBC's Today published Friday.
"If I were a betting person right now, I’d say Trump is going to run again," Clinton said. "But I want people to understand that this is a make-or-break point. Are we going to give in to all these lies and this disinformation and this organized effort to undermine our rule of law and our institutions or are we going to stand up to it?"

Trump so far has not committed to running for the White House again in 2024 after his 2020 defeat to President Joe Biden, but he has indicated that he will make a decision after the midterm elections in 2022. Trump is the early favorite among would-be Republican candidates should he decide to run, according to a Washington Post ranking last month.
Clinton made headlines earlier in the week when she was seen choking up in a video as she read portions of the speech she would have given had she won the 2016 election.
Clinton won the popular vote in 2016 but lost the Electoral College. She finished with 227 electoral votes to Trump's 304. She said in 2017 that the Electoral College should be abolished.
