A high schooler in Texas is facing a murder charge for killing a classmate by stabbing him to death in a bathroom brawl, authorities said.
The suspect, Caysen Allison, 18, is accused of murdering Jose Ramirez Jr., 18, on Tuesday in a bathroom fight at Belton High School, according to the Belton Police Department.
Following the incident, Allison fled the scene, but he was arrested less than a half-hour later, police said.

The school went into lockdown immediately after the stabbing was reported, according to a report.

A bond of $1 million was set, and Allison was placed into Bell County Jail, authorities said.
"On behalf of all Beltonians, I want all students, faculty, and staff at Belton High School and Belton ISD to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers," Belton Mayor Wayne Carpenter said.
