Ray Liotta, known for his role in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, was announced dead on Thursday.

The actor, 67, died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting the film Dangerous Waters, according to Deadline.

Liotta is survived by his daughter, Karsen, and he was engaged to Jacy Nittolo.

The most recent film appearances by Liotta included The Many Saints of Newark, Marriage Story, and No Sudden Move. He had also starred in the Apple TV+ series Black Bird and had finished acting in the film Cocaine Bear prior to his death. Both are scheduled for posthumous release.
