Four people are hospitalized following a fire at an ExxonMobile oil refinery plant near Houston.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed that three people were airlifted to treat injuries at hospitals and another was transported by ambulance after a "major industrial accident." The fire, which the sheriff said the preliminary investigation indicates was caused by an explosion, occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday morning. The conditions of the injured people are unknown.

The Baytown Area ExonnMobile confirmed on Twitter that there had been a fire at the facility and that there was no danger to the surrounding area.
