Former Vice President Mike Pence is slated to meet with members of the Republican Study Committee, the largest conservative caucus in Congress, on June 21.

The visit to Capitol Hill will mark the second time Pence, who chaired the group for a time during his 12-year House career, has met with the RSC since Rep. Jim Banks, a fellow Indiana Republican, started leading the caucus. Pence huddled with the group on Feb. 21 to discuss conservatives’ agenda, Punchbowl News reported.

Pence will be the latest in a slew of rumored GOP presidential contenders to meet with the influential group, with Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Tom Cotton (R-AR), former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also having met with the caucus.

Over the course of the past year, the RSC has also been closely aligned with former President Donald Trump and visited the U.S.-Mexico border in April 2021.

The caucus’s leadership team also traveled to Bedminster, New Jersey, to meet with Trump to discuss its policy agenda and path to the majority in June.
