Tech entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk punched left several times during a Tuesday interview with satire website, the Babylon Bee.
Musk touched on several topics during his interview with the outlet, which publishes conservative satire pieces that usually target Democratic Party elites and officials, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci. The Tesla founder shared his thoughts on how woke culture is ruining comedy.
“Wokeness basically wants to make comedy illegal,” he said. “Trying to shut down [Dave] Chappelle, come on, man, that’s crazy. Do we want a humorless society that is simply rife with condemnation and hate basically? At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically gives mean people a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue.”

Musk also jabbed at CNN during the interview, joking he was "not perverted enough" to work there, referencing CNN host Chris Cuomo and a CNN producer recently accused of respective sexual abuse crimes.
"You could be on CNN right now," one of the Bee's interviewers joked with Musk. "A real news organization."
"What was it you said, the requirement of being on CNN?" Musk asked.
"Yeah, are you a pervert?" the interviewer recalled.
"Yeah, I'm not perverted enough, I guess," Musk said, laughing.
Musk also discussed his thoughts on how California has become a land of "scorn" due to regulation and far-left policies, joking that "Gavin Newsom is U-Haul salesman of the year.”

“California used to be the land of opportunity. Now it has become sort of the land of over-regulation, over-litigation, and scorn,” Musk said.
