Donald Trump Jr. encouraged Hillary Clinton Thursday to keep interjecting herself into political conversations because it helps motivate President Trump's base.
"Your campaign and the DNC spent over $12,000,000.00 working with foreign agents to [create] a fake dossier with them... you should really sit this one out," Trump Jr. posted on Twitter in response to a tweet from Clinton. "Then again, keep going. Every time you talk we win. We appreciate the support."

Earlier Thursday, Clinton took issue with President Trump claiming at a campaign rally in Erie, Pa., Wednesday that it was the Democratic 2016 presidential nominee who "colluded" with Russia ahead of their election. Trump's comments sparked a rendition of the "Lock her up!" chant that became a fixture at his 2016 campaign stops.
"Seriously, you asked Russia to hack me on national television," Clinton wrote. She was referring to Trump saying during a July 2016 press conference that he hoped Russian operatives could find the former secretary of state's 33,000 missing emails.
Trump Jr.'s tweet cites the $12.4 million Clinton's campaign reportedly paid law firm Perkins Coie to represent it and the Democratic National Committee in 2016. Perkins Coie helped funnel money to opposition research firm Fusion GPS to compile the Trump dossier. The dossier, written by ex-British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, includes unsubstantiated, controversial allegations about Trump and prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room.
