A Democratic congressman from Pennsylvania lambasted Kanye West's behavior in the White House Thursday after a freewheeling press opportunity in the West Wing with President Trump.
"Ronald Reagan had such reverence for the Oval Office that he always wore his suit jacket while there. From that to this," Rep. Brendan Boyle posted on Twitter, referring to excerpts from the White House pool report detailing the encounter.

West's wide-ranging 10-minute monologue touched on his lack of male role models growing up, a key reason why he was drawn to the "energy" Trump exhibited on the campaign trail in 2016. He also likened the president's hallmark "Make America Great Again" hats to a "Superman cape.”
“Let’s stop worrying about the future. All we really have is today,” the rapper said. “Trump is on his hero’s journey right now, and he might not have expected to have a crazy motherfucker like Kanye West.”
Boyle represents Pennsylvania's 13th Congressional District, but he is seeking to be elected in the state's newly redrawn 2nd Congressional District in 2018.
Editor's note: An earlier version of this report misstated that Boyle was campaigning for re-election in Pennsylvania's 13th Congressional District in 2018.
