A Norfolk man has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Virginia that killed three people, including a reporter at the Virginian-Pilot, and injured two others.
Antoine Legrande, 24, is charged with three counts of second-degree murder, five counts of use of a firearm, and two counts of malicious wounding, in relation to the shooting on March 19, the Norfolk Police Department said.
"Countless hours of interviews and forensic investigation went into this case, to include following up on multiple tips originating from our community members,” said Michael Goldsmith, deputy city manager of Norfolk, in a press release. "I am very proud of Norfolk’s detectives and their determination to see justice prevail for the victims and their families.”
