NFL quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick is slated to work out with the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday.

The workout will be Kaepernick's first since he was exiled from the league after taking a knee in protest of racial injustice and police brutality, according to a report.

The now 34-year-old last played professional football in 2016.

COLIN KAEPERNICK OPEN TO BEING A BACKUP QB, EYES SUPER BOWL WIN

He met with the Seattle Seahawks in May 2017, but the organization passed on him.

If the Raiders do sign Kaepernick, he will have to battle for a starting spot. The quarterback rotation includes current starter Derek Carr, backup Jarrett Stidham, and recent signee Nick Mullens.

Kaepernick is open to returning as a backup, he said during an April episode on the I AM ATHLETE podcast.

"Yeah, if I have to come in as a backup, that's fine. But that's not where I'm staying. And when I prove that I'm a starter, I want to be able to step on the field as such," he said.

The former quarterback is adamant about making it back to the league and capturing a Super Bowl title. He came close in 2013 when he led the 49ers to the big game but lost to the Baltimore Ravens.

"You had those dreams from when you were a kid," Kaepernick said. "'I'm [going to] be an NFL player, and I'm going to win a Super Bowl.' And for me, I have unfinished business on that front. I have been to the Super Bowl. We were one play away. Well, I need to finish that."
