CNN produced an on-screen graphic on Thursday that referred to the Democratic recipients of suspicious, potentially explosive devices as "Trump's targets."

The graphic aired during a CNN segment on the "manhunt" for the person or people responsible for the explosives sent to some high-profile Democrats and critics of President Trump this week.

"Manhunt for serial bomber going after Trump's targets," the graphic said.

So far, packages have been delivered to multiple locations, including the homes of former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama; former CIA Director John Brennan, though his package was delivered to CNN's offices in New York; and the office of Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif.

Each of the devices has so far been retrieved by authorities and no one has been harmed. But some blamed Trump's attacks on his Democratic rivals for encouraging someone to threaten them with violence, and said Trump bears some responsibility for the incident.
