The suspicious packages sent this week to various locations across the U.S. may be connected to the Russians, MSNBC’s Chuck Todd speculated Thursday.
“I have this fear it could be some Russian operation, too, designed to do what’s happening now,” Todd said during “Meet the Press Daily.”
“It is dividing us,” he said.

Former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former CIA Director John Brennan, and liberal billionaire George Soros, among others, received suspicious packages this week.
The FBI said on Wednesday that additional packages may be issued to other locations, and that all of the packages had a return address of “DEBBIE WASSERMAN SHULTZ” [sic] in Florida.
Although FBI Assistant Director William Sweeney did not disclose where the packages originated during a press conference earlier Thursday, investigators have determined that at least some of the packages were processed by a Florida U.S. Postal Service facility just north of Miami, CNN reports.
The packages are being analyzed at the FBI Laboratory in Virginia.
