Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) released a slate of endorsements for women running in Republican primaries, including backing Sarah Palin in her bid for Alaska's only House seat.
Stefanik, the third-ranking Republican in the House, announced four additions to her Empower PAC's lineup of female candidates Monday morning. Stefanik has been building a coalition of Republican women who align with former President Donald Trump's "America First" agenda as a record number of women seek GOP nominations.
"Sarah Palin is a trailblazer for [GOP women] who has a stellar record of service to Alaskans," Stefanik said of the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee. "She will be a key asset in Congress to help stop Joe Biden's reckless agenda and SAVE AMERICA!"

Stefanik also threw her support behind Catalina Lauf in Illinois's 11th District, Jennifer-Ruth Green in Indiana's 1st District, and Carolina Serrano in Nevada's 1st District. All three are trying to flip their districts from Democratic control.
“I’m thrilled to endorse four more Rising Star GOP women to Congress," Stefanik said in a statement. "These women are all American First champions who bring something new and necessary to the table. I couldn’t be prouder that E-PAC endorsed GOP women come from all different walks of life and have built their careers shattering glass ceilings.

Trump also endorsed Palin last month as she competes in a crowded primary field to take over the seat left open by Rep. Don Young's (R-AK) death in March. The special election's top-four primary will be held on June 11, with the general election on Aug. 16. The winner will serve the rest of Young's term until January. Stefanik has endorsed over two dozen candidates in competitive districts that Republicans are hoping to pry from Democratic control.
