The festival kicks off three days of music Friday night with a concert at the Newport Casino.

Preservation Hall is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Saturday features acts including guitarist Pat Metheny, singer Diane Reeves, guitarist Bill Frisell, and jazz trio The Bad Plus, all playing at Fort Adams State Park.
